1. The dry run
If something cannot move cleanly, we find it on the copy. The dry run is the only place a migration is allowed to fail.

2. The link map
Every old URL is mapped to its new page before launch. After launch the old URLs are requested again on the live store and counted, so the redirect map is proved rather than assumed.

3. The switch
The cutover runs to a written sequence: analytics carried across unchanged, payments live, DNS moved, then a pass over the storefront, the checkout and the feeds. Everything is checked against the list before the store is handed back.

4. Thirty days after
A stabilization window is included. Indexing, redirects and the feeds are watched, and the small things that only appear under real traffic get fixed.

Why is the audit paid?
Because it is a deliverable, not a sales call. It prices the move and ranks what to fix after it, and the 990 EUR comes off any engagement within 30 days.
What does not survive a migration?
Customer passwords never transfer between platforms, so your customers set new ones at first sign-in. Order history can stay on the old platform as the financial record or be imported if you need it live. Discount codes and anything built on platform-specific apps are rebuilt, not moved. The audit lists what applies to your store before you commit.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Every old URL is mapped to its new page before launch, and after launch I request the old URLs again on the live store and count how many resolve. Search results move on their own schedule after any migration, so I measure the redirects, which I control, rather than promising rankings, which I do not.
Do I own the new store?
Yes, all of it, from day one. The Shopify account, the theme, the data and the domains are built under your own accounts. I work under collaborator access you can revoke in one click, and the work is billed on milestones.
